Eric Sheninger

Eric is the award-winning, former Principal at New Milford High School located in Bergen County, NJ. His work focuses on leading and learning in the digital age as a model for moving schools and districts forward. This has led to the formation of the Pillars of Digital Leadership, a framework for all educators to initiate sustainable change to transform school cultures.  As a result Eric has emerged as an innovative leader and sought after speaker.  His main focus is the use of social media and web 2.0 technology as tools to engage students, improve communications with stakeholders, enhance public relations, create a positive brand presence, discover opportunity, transform learning spaces, and help educators grow professionally.





Damian Bebell

Dr. Damian Bebell is an Assistant Research Professor at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and a Senior Research Associate at the Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation, and Educational Policy.  Over the past decade, Damian has led numerous research and evaluation studies investigating the effects of 1-to-1 technology programs and other computer-based technology tools on teaching and learning across wide range of educational settings.  In 2010, Damian served as guest editor for a Special Issue of the Journal of Technology, Learning, and Assessment producing the first collection of peer-reviewed research studies emerging from 1:1 computing environments.  Currently, Damian is leading one of the world’s first formal evaluation studies of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) with partners MIT and edX studying the efficacy of MOOC models in traditional and non-traditional settings.  Damian also currently serves as the Research Director for the International Research Collaborative where he conducts longitudinal research and evaluation studies with international school partners.
