Evan Conaway is an anthropologist who studies online gaming cultures and digital media preservation. He is a PhD candidate in Sociocultural Anthropology at University of California, Irvine, a recipient of an NSF Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant, and a frequent contributor to Platypus, the official blog of the Committee on the Anthropology of Science, Technology, and Computing.
